Woody’s Brewing Co. is a dream of that has evolved from a love to consume and brew beer. Shasta County is our home where we work, live and play. Whether out for a day on the lake, a bike ride over the sundial bridge or a day of hiking local waterfalls, our four packs to-go usually join us in our adventures! We are a brewery that strives to deliver great beer and food, in a great atmosphere. As hometown locals, we are passionate about the people in our community having a gathering place that appeals to all. Prost!
Bart’s first taste of professional brewing came when he was hired as head brewer at California Brewing Company in Palo Cedro. This only deepened his passion for craft beer and its place in the community. We were fortunate to be part of the creation, start-up, and operation of Final Draft Brewing Company in Redding.
After leaving FDBC, Bart and Ami purchased the historic Silver Dollar Club with Bart’s sister. Our dream of owning our own brewpub was always at the forefront, and we eventually sold the Silver Dollar to Bart’s sister to pursue the opportunity to take over Woody’s Brewing Company. After years of hard work, we are so grateful to have become the sole proprietors of Woody’s! Scott, Andrew, and the entire Wlodarczyk family built this incredible business over the past 10 years, and we’re honored they’ve entrusted us to nurture it and take it to the next level.
Bart and Ami are lifelong residents of Redding and high school sweethearts who have raised their four amazing children here. They are self-proclaimed foodies, travel aficionados, and beer geeks who continue to find inspiration in every trip they take. We’re thrilled to bring our vision and dreams to Downtown Redding as we begin this exciting new chapter!
